Catalytic converters

Ok guys I have been needing to cut off my catalytic converters on my 08 Tacoma TRD Sport 4x4 ( 6 spd manual) because they are stopped up and are causing major problems. My converters are welded straight to my exhaust manifolds which I'm pretty certain are cast iron. My question is if I cut them off, do they make any slip on adapters or anything of that nature I can use to connect my manifolds back to my exhaust. And if anyone has done this before what problems did you have or if it worked great for you what exactly did you do because even though you can weld stainless to cast using nickel rods or wire it's too tight of a space to get into to weld the top up. (NO EMISSIONS LAW IN MY STATE

 

Same here in Mass no emissions on my 05 4.0
I stayed stock replacing everything, but I did not need cats, but chose to keep them as everything was new

Mechanic for my big jobs said he could just put in filler pipes by welding them in, and should not throw any codes is my understanding
