Hey everyone, many of you have probably noticed by now but we launched a new line of catalytic guards last month, and its time we posted some details and pics here! (We didn't want to over publicize them until our new transmission skid plates with holes to mount them were in full production)

-1/4" 5052 Aluminum - lightweight, great heat dissipation
-Bolts to your RCI transmission skid plate - retrofit to an older skid by drilling 8 holes, or use with our new -transmission skid plates that have the holes pre cut!
    -All hardware included with kit
-Carriage bolt install means they cannot easily be removed without removing the whole transmission skid plate = hard to steal cats!
-Adds strength to your transmission skid plate

I have no choice but to use my truck in sketchy areas sometimes so I stuck a pair of these on the same week I got the truck. It’d take at least 30 minutes and a bunch of noise to take my cats now. Thanks guys.

We just finished cutting aluminum and moving back through our steel list now. If they haven't shipped already you should be seeing tracking in the next day or two!

I bought a pair to mount to my BAMF skid. Been pretty lazy about it, so I haven't gotten to it, but they certainly look like they'll work fine.

I imagine they will work with any transmission skid that uses a 90deg side flange! Let us know how it works

Needs modification in order for the skid to be dropped, due to the way the BAMF skid is attached to the transmission crossmember and IFS skid. Current plan is to cut a few inches off the rear of so the skid can rotate, and also possibly trim the top edge so it can't get bent up into the frame.

I don’t suppose they are compatible with the stock pro skid plate are they?

For anyone with Cali-raised skids, these can be retrofitted. I clamped them in place, marked the holes, and drilled. Followed up with a quick touch up from some self-etching primer and truck bed coating. I don't think they provide the same area coverage as with RCI. I think RCI's skid is wider, hence the better "seal". That said, I think these cover enough to add extra deterrence/headache to any clownshow hoping for a simple score.
