No we are giving up more American lives if we keep on saying that we can't use any kind of methods like these on people that might pose a threat to this country. There are reasons he was on the federal watch list. it's not like he was just some random guy. I say good job to the FBI for trying to keep us safe. You can't please everyone in the country. If it's the tracking of 100 people but saving the lives of who knows how many more I find this reasonable

all i know is if the FBI stuck something on my truck, then sent 2 Tahoe's with 8 cops in full tactical gear to retrieve it back, i'd be a little bit annoyed to say the least

 

The kid was on a federal terrorist watch list. The feds just don't pick your name out of the phone book at random for that.

 

haha i had to put up with being wanded plenty of times when i had a cast on at the airport. it was annoying but i put up with it. i got singled out because i had a cast. he got singled out because of who his dad was.

 

interesting to say the least. I woulda given them a bit more of a harder time to get that thing if I found it on my truck...

 

I fly pretty frequently and have been pulled aside on several occasions. Once 3 times during a single trip. Doesn't bother me one jots and its takes like 5 mins. No biggie. He'll, I wouldn,t even mind if the nation guard stepped in and helped the local police clean up this bs thug related, baggie pant wearin, gang problem we seem to have.

 

Why didn't he strap it onto somebody else's rig ?

If the kid was such a terrorist , you'd think he'd be able to tell the difference .

 

If I found something like that on my vehicle I would first take pictures. Then it would have close encounter with a sledge hammer. After that, I'd be on the phone with the ACLU. Doing this shit without a warrant is outrageous.

 

I'm with the guys that think this is good. I think it is awesome to know that the FBI is doing their job and not just sitting around playing on the computer. I'm not worried about them tracking me. First of all, I am a very boring person. I go to work throughout the week, then on the weekends I do nothing. Secondly, if they did put a tracking device under my truck it would not last long because I am constantly under my truck messing with something or cleaning it. I'm pretty sure I would notice that big ole thing that is pictured.
