I went to my first test drive set on Cement... left set on Cavalry Blue and no regrets at all. It's different and I like that there's only a few in my area. It also hides dirt/dust pretty well.

I drove 70 miles yesterday to see the Cavalry blue. It was on a TRD, which I will not be getting, but I just wanted to see one in person. Yep, that is the color. Just a couple of weeks and I will have the cash to order one. :)

I was surprised at how well it does hide dirt! It can be pretty dirty, and still look good.

No regrets on cavalry blue here! Also, happy it is available for OR this year and absolutely no regrets on going with the manual.

I ended up buying Cement but Calvary Blue was right up there. It is true what others have said, it is even better in person.

Originally wanted cement, went to the dealership and fell in love with the blue. Don't trust pictures, it looks Robin egg blue. In person it is much darker.

Plus I blacked out all my badges, got the black lettering for the Tacoma indented letters on the tailgate, painted the chrome bumper caps black and painted the fender flares black. Last piece was the pro grille.

These changes are inexpensive and easy and make it look like a different truck. No chrome really deepens the blue.

Please tell me how you painted the chrome bumper caps. I too love the black with the cavalry blue.

There's two options, you can find a video or written guide to actually remove them, or you can just carefully mask and drop cloth them.

Once you've got them either removed or taped you can use plasti dip. That's what I used on all my badges, the flares and bumper.

It takes some time, but apply multiple light coats and give it 20 minutes or so between coats. I put 8 coats on my bumper and the last one you apply really heavy. Just make sure you're not just focusing on one spot, apply heavy but keep the can moving so you don't get any runs.

Not home, but when I get there I'll post some pictures.

No regrets! Double-cab, TRD OR owner. De-badged and no TRD stickers. Like others have said, my black rims and black tailgate letters make the blue just pop.... Next up is swapping out a grill and hopefully (eventually) the headlights.

Ignore the dirt, camping and rain.

Also, LED lows/fogs and Pro tail lights (these weren't my decision, coworker backed into me and paid to replace them, so I went with the pro for the black internals)

Only visual upgrades thus far, might dive deeper this winter when there's snow everywhere and nothing to do.

This color is definitely starting to grow on me the more I see pictures. Quicksand is my first choice, but Cavalry Blue is nudging in to be my top pick lol nice to see that it's not super popular

I love the Calavary blue. I originally wanted the orange, but they didnt have that color for 2019. Get lots of compliments on this color.

I really like this color...and almost got the ‘18 Pro, but couldn’t find one with a 6MT close by. It worked out cause the VooDoo Pro dropped for ‘19 and I found a 6MT by pure luck that had just showed up to the dealer and I snatched it up (VooDoo is my favorite shade of blue). It’s intense and in your face. But that Cavalry still make me stare when I see one in the wild!

I saw one pull up next to me, loved it. The subtle blue will take longer to go out of style than more intense tones I’d imagine.

Since you only plan to keep it 7 years you might want to consider resale color.

20190630_190048.jpg I get a lot of compliments on mine. Just yesterday a guy standing outside a store stared as I drove across the parking lot and gave me a thumbs up as I passed by. The same day a kid and his dad who had just got out of a quicksand Tacoma just about broke their necks looking back at mine. I've seen people snapping pictures of it too. Not just Tacoma drivers either. Someone in a new ranger was gawking a while back. Just met a couple who has a Colorado and they really liked it too.

What really sets it off are the black accents. Take those away and it doesn't have the same appeal. But I guess the same could be said for any color.

I love the color. It changes tint based on ambient light. I get a ton of positive comments from people too. No regrets at all and would do it again x 10.

I love my cement, but I have to admit that sometimes when I see a cav blue driving around, I get a small pang of regret that I didn’t go that route. They look very nice.

Kinda regret it now that i was a cheap skate cause it is a nice color.. Next time atound i gonna men up and go for the Mary Kay Pink.o_O
