Moved the 30” S8 behind the grille with SDHQ brackets since the bumper I’m going with now doesn’t offer a light bar mounting option

 

Added new floor mats today. These from Lasfit, fit like a glove and seem to cover decent areas enough to deal with a 5 years old lol

 

Just ordered rear shocks from @ShowstoppersUSA this weekend

With those hopefully arriving this week and fronts already in hand guess I need to be ready for the install.

That plus $40 off motivated me to buy one of the famous Badland HF jacks.

 

Gonna put that thing to work this weekend.

 

I really like how this truck has evolved. How did you get the headlights blacked out? I too am the proud owner of a Calvary Blue Taco and plan to take many cues off your build .

Opening the the headlights was a pita man, not hard to do but takes a lot of patience which I don’t have a lot

Took 3 rounds cooking them in the oven, disassembly of the internals is easy, some spray paint and I bought from a member here the orange piece that covers signals

Btw, mines may be for sale soon…

 

Didn’t want to post pictures of the suspension until fully done but here we go. Did the rears on Thursday, planning on doing the fronts tomorrow.



Then in the mean time ima Home Depot run this guy just pulled out of a parking spot like if his life depends on that run & “didn’t see I was coming” wheels is all f up, leaf pack seems too, then the body. @CaliRaisedLed sliders helped a bit by taking some of the impact, otherwise it probably would’ve been worst.

 

Front shocks went in yesterday.

Can’t wait for that C4 bumper to show up so I can get her all dialed in. And well, get the body fixed.

Do you recall what oven temp was ? I watched this on YouTube and two different guys yielded different results.

I was reviewing your build list and didn't come across any mention of th ECGS bushing swap. What has been your experience with any vibration issues? Getting my ducks in a row to blow some bonus $.

Not listed but did the ECGS bushing a while back when I got the Bilstein suspension installed.

Kings are the third different suspension I run and haven’t had any vibration issues.
