Hey man, awesome truck! I skimmed through the tread twice but I didn’t see any details on your new rear suspension setup. Are you still running the add a leaf with the Kings or did you end up going with a new leaf pack?

Need to update the tread now that you point that out. I did install an Icon RXT set on Option #2 a couple weeks ago.

That looks great! Like TacoBuffet said, you've got one of my favorite builds.

I've got some lift blocks that I need to ditch and I've been going back and forth between the Dobinson leaf springs and those Icons. Have you noticed an appreciable difference in ride quality between the add a leaf and those? I'm sure the Kings make a huge difference as well.

To be honest I’ve been playing with the kings to get the ride quality as smooth as OEM as possible. Leaf pack so far feels pretty good, not too soft but haven’t done any real load to see how it holds.

As far as flexing I still need some extended brake lines & hangers to unlock the full potential… I guess lol that’s based on my free time online reading skills lol

 

You might have swayed me towards the Icon's. My wife says my truck currently rides like a dump truck when the bed is empty, so anything closer to OEM is a win in my book. It looks like they may be a few bucks cheaper than the Dobinson pack and can be picked up locally. Did you have them installed somewhere around DFW or did you do it yourself?

 

They are a little cheaper than the Dobinson ones, when I got them there was a sale so I got an extra 10 or 15% off at the time.

I did see you might have your headlights up for sale soon. Keep me in mind when the time comes to swap those out or if you are refreshing anything else!
