CB antenna location idea

    I have an Antenex Laird C27 CB antenna and I'm thinking of NMO mounting it to this spot on the fender.

    What do you think?
    I'm concerned that it may cause a high SWR. I think it looks good in this spot. It's not really noticeable.

    Check out relentless-fab's hood mount which is just a couple inches from there.

    I just mounted mine on the top of the driver side bed side rail. I'll post up pics later in the week.

    In my opinion roof mount works best. swr tuning is a breeze in this spot.
