so i recently got a CB radio. i have a very basic magnetic antenna placed on the top of my cab. the wire is just tucked into the weather stripping on my door and then out onto the roof. looking to buy a better antenna, mounting it on upper left corner of my truck bed nearest the cab. but im not sure where to run the wire. id like it to be hidden as much as possible.

I installed mine where youre wanting to, driver side upper part of bed. drilled a hole(under the mount) for the antenna wire to go through. with an xtra cab model, under the rear driver side storage compartment, there is a grommet in the corner of the cab - i cut a hole in that and snaked the wire through there, under the carpet and into the center dash console area where my cb radio is.
Its a clean setup, cant really see the cable anywhere, but just time consuming to pass it under the carpet. worked welll for me though.
(attached pics are while i was installing everything, not final setup. just showing how everything is routed.)
