CB Install question

I didnt really know where to post this so I figured try this sub-forum.

anyway on with the question, I am soon to install my cb and was wanting to make sure i ordered the correct stuff for the install and since i new there would be some ham radio and cb nuts on here figured this would be a great place to ask questions.

i figured i would start with this cable,

$12 18' RG-58A/U Coaxial Cable With Pl-259 Connectors

as I am going to cut one end of it off so that i can run it through the firewall and i will need about 15'.
then to put the new end on it to hook up to the cb i will use this

$9 RoadPro RPL-259C Crimp-On Connector for RG-58 Cable

then clean stuff up with this

Anytime Tools 48 pc Heat Shrink Tubing Wrap Sleeves Assorted Sizes

and to ensure the end is closed off(as per a step by step instruction i found) use these two things

Kester 83-4000-0000 SN60PB40 Solder Pocket Pack, 0.031" Wire Diameter
