    Good morning
Getting ready to install a CB with a magnet mount antenna on a 2017 Tacoma Access Cab. What's the easiest path to route the coax from the roof (without drilling an NMO mount) into the cab with zero cable crimping?
    Thanks in advance.

There is a large rubber grommet in the driver side rear floorboard. It pulls out from under the truck. You just have to pop off the door trim so you can pull the carpet up a little.

Other people said there is another one on the back of the cab behind the seats. I tried this route but it was too difficult for me to feed it between the bed and the cab.

    Without going through the roof-

Under the roof molding, down the driver's A pillar, under the hood, then through the firewall grommet.

Otherwise, down the back of the cab, then up one of the floor plugs.

I bought a weboost and mounted it on my hard shell and ran the cable between the truck bed and cab for the access cab. There are vents that I ran the cable into the cab.

Vents? I know about the floor grommets but what are those?

    I think it’s to depressurize
the cab. They are just rectangle holes cut out with rubber flaps covering them.

    From
drivers side gromet works good, make sure to ground your radio well. When my dual band NMO was in the center on my roof rack, I just ran the wire and tucked it into the window seal, if you dont feel like doing that there are several companies that make a "stick on" adhesive strip for wire management along the pillars.

Are those behind the rear seats, so you have to take out the seats to get to them?

My access cab has no actual seats..just storage for Jack, etc. I just pulled off (unsnapped) the back panel to expose it. I think I'll use these Mag Daddy magnets to secure the coax down from the magnet antenna base near where it'll feed in these vents.

I ran it through the vent under the floor mats under the driver seat and finally under the steering wheel and it was all out of sight.

There is a grommet under the rear passenger side of my access cab. I ran my coax for my Wilson 1000 down between the bed and rear window (used self adhesive cable stays x 2 on the frame of the outside rear window slider), and then routed it to the grommet underneath. Zip tied underneath where necessary

I cut an "X" in the grommet and then fed the coax/connector through it, and then popped up the passenger door sills; pulled up the carpet a bit and ran the coax cable under that. Sealed the cable running through the grommet with Red RTV gasket maker.

Ran the coax cable under the passenger door sills and reinstalled the door sills. Plenty of room under them for that.

Continued to run the coax cable underneath the forward foot carpeted area of the passenger side. It's a very clean install with the coax cable.

    Go big or go home.
