So when I first installed my radio, the display lights on the front only lit when someone would talk, and they would light up more and more (from left to right) the stronger and clearer the signal was. Now they just seem to stay on all the time, and well into the red zone of the display. Is this bad? is this just caused by interference or is my radio about to explode?

itd help to know the radio. im going to assume its the 510xl cause everyone has that

its not gonna explode. that will only happen if it heats up which usually only happens when transmitting with an untuned antennae
