    Hello OP, do you think the tailgate mounting bracket could support a 102" steel whip, second question if I ground mounting bracket directly to the frame should give me a good SWR reading. I have a 2016 Taco with composite bed. Last question I was thinking of mounting a headache rack so I could get the antenna to the center of the truck for better ground plain. I don't do any 4 wheeling not worried about the height. Thanks for taking the time explaining the basic fundamentals, nice set up by the way...
