I need help with this as well. I'm getting the exact same setup as what you have in your cart. I just need a good hood mount. Anyone have any ideas?

Trying to. lol. I like the relentless mount, but it could be illegal here to have it block my inspection sticker so to say.

Yeah, but I would get driver. I just went with the universal one I posted. I did measurements and read about it and should work. I placed my order also. Us noobs

 

For those of you that mounted your antenna near the taillights, how'd you hide the coax cable/get it from the CB to outside the cab?

I have an idea but it's a tight fit and I don't want to pinch/damage the cable

 

Where can I get a 20$ rear mount?

My plan was to run it from the ashtray to the driver side door trim then to the storage compartment behind the driver seat and then to a grommet in there. After that run it to the tailgate

 

Your plan will work, I just ran it out the grommet right below the driver side door.

 

Ok cool! I did a test fit (got bored today and I don't have all the parts yet) and it was a little snug and I didn't want to damage the wire.

Did you have to wrap any excess coaxial (if you have 18ft)?

 

The excess, about 1' or so, is just in a large circle under the carpet in front of my seat. You want to keep it from being wrapped up as best you can to reduce interference.
