Mine is under the drivers seat with a Cat 6 cable running to the dash. I replaced the Qi charger button with an RJ45 jack and plugged the Cat 6 cable in there and plugged my mic into it.

My friend mounted the unit to center console in the passenger wheel well on the side then also ran the cabling into the dash with an RJ45 jack

Mine is a hidden unit (screen and buttons are on the mic) so I put mine inside the dash under the hvac unit, then put a rj45 plug in a switch blank to plug in my radio.

What I run. I just put mine on the passenger side of the console. Really doesn’t take up much space at all. Thought about putting it in my console originally. I have heard people say they didn’t like theirs. I am told I am loud and clear and also get good reception so happy with mine for the past year or so..
