    Correct.

That should be an easier way of mounting the cross member. Mine is a bit of pain to bolt up.

I believe @Box Rocket used them. I've seen a few people use them to good effect. They should hold up to fine. The bolt I'd make sure it's at least grade 8 or even F911.

I'd rather not drill through the frame. Make my buddy weld it all haha. Less work for me

Belly skid is pretty much finished. The vast majority is welded together, and the holes barely line up. All that's left to do is drill a few drainage holes, add some gussets and then paint.

Next time you guys see this skid, it'll be on the truck as a finished project.

Last weekend I was able to put some finishing touches on the belly skid. This weekend I was able to get a break from the crappy weather and paint the belly skid, and now it's bolted up to the truck.

From Relentless? Mounts look slightly different but then again if one doesn't purchase all Relentless, then mounts will be different.

Belly skid is homemade. Front/Rear bumpers and IFS skid are RelentlessFab products they sell.

Did an overnight trip to Usal Beach with @Nightstr . Usal Beach was beautiful and is definitely an area I'll be heading back to when it warms up.

Looks badass dude! Something quick and easy you could do would be cut some tube down that a socket still fits inside and weld them around the bolts. That way they're fairly protected and you don't bend a bolt off and snap the head off sliding across something

Thanks! Haven't really thought about protecting the bolts that way. I don't expect to be doing any serious rock crawling until Summer, so if I don't get the skids wrapped in UHMU by late May, I'll do that temporary protection. Thanks for the idea!

If im gonna do a sas again, im starting with just a body and building a frame with big motor, big tires and huge axles. Thinking a 70s toyota pickup body or flat fender willys jeep.

I've stopped thinking about SAS just because I know I can't afford it. Just going to wheel and enjoy the truck as is for now. I'm more than happy with the way the truck performances.

Ive been the same way even though the huge list I just posted will cost a lot of money. But Ive been saving for a while and some stuff has just fallen in place. Im happy with how my truck is and have taken a step away from TW and other social media stuff and realized I dont need everything that everyone else has. No need for all the mainstream crap and fancy parts when the stuff I have works just fine. Just trying to buy the necessities and spend more money on gas lol

Yep. I have the same idea. Once I get a winch, I'm just going to start saving for trips and repairs. All the fun #EAF stuff is neat and all, but I don't really need it.

I personally wouldnt worry about a winch. Wheel with someone else and you wont need it. I have this big fancy winch (got a screaming deal on) and have never even used it..

EDIT: Every scenario ive gotten into I could have used my winch or even should have used my winch, someone else pulled a strap out and just gave me a tug
