    Build fatigue is real.
I find that going on a long trip with my truck is great at countering build fatigue.

This is fact. I'm definitely more of a 2/3 trip person, but I'd love to pull a week vacation and go to Moab or travel to SoCal to visit friends and go camp.

In my opinion a trip to Moab needs more than a week.
I would suggest 4 to 4.5 weeks and inadvertently drive to Idaho and Oregon while you're at it.

Yeah, I'm with Ian. PTO says 18 days max right now. I could take a 2 months off work and travel, but that's unpaid and a huge nope from me at the moment.

One day. It'll happen when it happens. 35s, lockers front and rear, and dual cases will have to suffice for the time being.

I’ll bet they suffice for quite a while.

A nothing lights a fire under your ass more than preparing the truck for said trip. Though I have definitely been pushed to my breaking point more than once trying to do TOO MUCH SHIT before a trip too.

Just need to quick trip to pickup some 20g sheet metal and then some automotive seam sealer and I'm ready to start cutting.

I get close to the breaking point with repairs sometimes. I replaced my whole AC system and timing belt at the same time a few years ago. That sucked.

I have yet to come close to my breaking point with my camper build. I've thoroughly enjoyed every minute of it. I've never thought "WTF have I gotten myself into" with it.

Well...that's not entirely true. The sleeping platform is a pair of epoxy fiberglass over foam panels I hand built. I've put around 50 hours of hands on labor into them and they're still not complete. I think I might be okay with them being 75% done. They're strong and weigh 9 pounds each. That's not bad.

This is exciting...looking forward to seeing you put this together.

Hey Cory, since you’re getting close to doing your tubbing, one of the little tricks that one of our local guys here turned me onto was to cut down one of the stock hockey puck bumps to about 1/3 to 1/2 of its stock height and use that for your full stuff limit. In fact, I still have the ones that he gave me if you wanted to go that route and not have to sacrifice one of your existing bumps.

Anyway, for stock geometry like mine, it made it so that I had plenty of margin in terms of space at the firewall at full stuff and full lock with the normal stock bumps. I’ve taken some pretty hard bottom outs and have yet to see any rubbing on the firewall after doing it that way (the inner fender is a different story...)

    Just a thought.
