Gotcha. If I have any more issues with the crawlbox, I'll swap to a heavier weight fluid. Thanks man!

When your crawlbox leaked, where did it typically come out of? The shifter?

On mine, its leaking from the RAD triple stick. MC adapters don't leak.
On a buddy with TG adapter, he's leaking form the front adapter to the RF1A side, rear adapter is fine.

Just between the mating surface on the shifter and the case?
Cause the RAD triple stick just goes on top of the factory shifter plate.

I have an oil slinger plate that's going in there to hopefully help, and I was planning on putting loads of silicone between the case, oil slinger, & shifter

Mine's leaking from the tacoma case because of how RAD designed his mount. The H/L crawl case is not leaking.

Mine leaks from the RADesigns shift plate. More specifically, from the o ring that is on the solid rod inside the unit. The new breather on it is why it leaks at the moment, but I'm planning to replace it with a 90° hose barb fitting and move the breather to the engine bay. Also going to putting an inspection hole in the trans tunnel since I'm tired of pulling the case out it work on it.

Best of luck with the install! You have my number so feel free to message me if you have any questions.

Gotcha. Yea I was planning on doing a 90 deg barb there too and routing a hose somewhere. Prob do the same on the crawlbox in that port where the allen plug is on the side of the case just for good measure

Thanks! yea i'll probably be hitting you up for some dumb questions lol

There's a breather on the transmission bell housing that the stock t-case uses. I wouldn't worry about a breather on the crawlbox.

No real updates as of yet. Crawlbox hasn't leaked, but driving 15 miles a day for my work commute isn't really doing much to validate that for me.

However, there might a few changes to suspension coming soon.

Well... Once the prototype is built and tested, but eventually this might make it's way onto my truck. I need to buy tires next year, so at least 35s will be on my truck regardless of suspension, but maybe 37s if this LT kit comes to life and works well. :spy:

He got sucked into my buddies dream to build a 1 ton IFS. It's still a dream but it gets a little closer to reality every week or so.

I mean...... I just can't find axles. :pout:

I'm also doing a few PC upgrades at the moment, so I'm window shopping at a lot right now. :bananadead:

Infected me, he did. As much as I like the idea, and because I need to buy tires next year, he has a little time to convince me to stay IFS for a little longer. Otherwise, I'm staying on 33s and going back to SAS stuff.

First gen on LT and 37s would be pretty bitchen, but still not as good looking at tons and 40 IMO.

I've been toying with that idea in my head too with staying IFS in the long run. @theesotericone will be going 38's which has me curious.
My one worry is the steering and how it'll hold up to LT in the rocks.
Someone needs to come out with a tundra rack upgrade or something for first gens.

His rigs getting LS swapped right now. I doubt any progress will be made until he has his rig back. I'm curious to see what front diff he ends up dropping in. It's a shit ton of fab work to get a true 1 ton IFS in these rigs but I know Steven is pretty committed to it.
