Mall Crawler... Right... Just because it been more than 2 years since you've used it off-road doesn't mean that it's now classified as a Mall Crawler.

All depends if it gets finished and if we do end up going. I would like to see the FJC back in action after 2 years.

Now thinking about it, Hollister would be a great place to stretch the legs of the FJC and see what it's like off-road before it hits the Rubicon Trail.

I finally got a chance to hop back on. I have found that stuff and even took a picture for reference. The only place I know of to get it is from K Chemicals in TN. There may be another company that makes this but calls it something different but Im not 100% on that. After about 2 different applications my flares seem to be renewed really. We applied it about a week ago and its still looks like its been just applied.

Thanks. That image will work just swell. I'll look it up online and see what I find. If all else, I'm sure that I'll find something similar.

So I've been thinking about putting some life back into my fender flares. If you've seen my previous pictures with my truck, you've probably noticed that my fender flares are extremely faded and need some desperate work done to them in the terms of spray paint.

I'm curious if anyone would knows what the orginal color of the fender flares are or if anyone has a suggestion for a color. So far I think it's semi flat black.

I'll give you that, but I would like the truck to look nice and clean when driving it on the road. I can't always have it looking filthy.

I used Rustoleum bed coating on mine. Worked excellent and is pretty durable. Give em a good scrub and go to town. They'll stay black for a long time!

Thanks for the idea. Definitely going to look into it more. It seems to rather close to the original color of the fender flares.

Leer shell, bedliner, helwig helper springs, hid aux driving lights. UPDATE: 33x12.5x15 duratracs, buds skid plate & belly pan (delivered not yet installed); now need good bolt-on sliders... UPDATE: Ordered bamf sliders, LCA skids, & badlands rear bumper
I am planning on getting Dakars also and have noticed in pics they do move the wheels forward a bit; I assumed it was intentional so when the wheel is stuffed and the leaf straightens out then the wheel will be more centered in the wheel well... vs most stock leafs that are centered in the well most of the time then the wheel is off-centered in the well about 1/2" towards the rear when fully stuffed.

Nice build; interested to see the final set up... :D

I think before I decided on if I'm going get the axle relocation plate, I'll first get 33x12.50 tires, probably the MTRs. If 33s do rub, then I'll get the axle relocation plate, but other then that, I would rather rub a bit then waste money for something that I don't need.

Thanks. I can't wait to see how it comes out as well.

I love them. Icon has such a soft and plush ride while the Dakars have a great load capacity and flexibility. Highly recommend this set up. It works wonders.
