I meant until the paint has dried and fully cured. My bad.

I was too. I was expecting it to be on the truck today. Well... I'm patient, so I can wait for it, if it means that the final product looks amazing.

If it said that it would have taken 24hrs to just dry, then I would have never bought it.

Yeah, totally, can you imagine? Would take a week of diligent painting, haha. Rustoleum is the shiznit though.

Oh yea... I don't think I could manage waiting a week to finish painting my bumper, let alone anything... I'll agree with you, Rustoleum is easily the best spray paint ever.

Attempted to relocate the blinkers up to the corners today. Was going according to plan when the 1/2 inch drill bit decided to go through the back side of the passenger corner and then continue on through the front of the corner...

New corner is on order but it won't be here until Tuesday. Looks like there's going to be a week delay until I get the new corner in. I am going to pull the grill off the truck soon and paint that since I have the time. I'll paint the blinkers when they arrive. Bumper is coming along nicely though... :(

Color matching? I also recently did the blinker relocation. I luckily had an extra corner light that i practiced on. Ended up only using JB weld to seal the light up. Turned out pretty good.

Somewhat glad to see I'm not the only one who messed up... I think I'm just going to dremel the whole thing next time. No 1/2 inch bit for me... Did you glue it on wrong or what?

I'm probably going to go with a textured black. I thought about color matching, but I think it would look better in black, especially with the new bumper.

I was going back and forth between the two. Really happy how the color match turned out. I mocked up the relentless fab bumper with my grill and retro on my truck and this is how it turned out. Of course, i still need to get a lift..... ha

You used Brent's truck as a mock up to see what it would look like?

I like how it looks but I'm still a sucker for silver and black on cars. I've always liked the way the two colors work together to make something look really good. I have time, so I'm still continplating what to do, but color matching is not out of the equation, yet.

Ha, yup. Really like the look of Brent's truck. I think either way, black or color match, would look really good. Took me forever to decide..

I figured. Brent has a really good looking truck. I'll probably make my mind up this weekend when I paint the grill. All I know is that the chrome has to go.

Thanks for giving me ideas for my truck Brent!

Yes, agree 100%. Did not like the chrome at all.

It's a long story but... The first light went good and the second one good... Until I smashed it between the hood and battery

The third one (ordered from rock auto) I used a different sealant that was more viscous. When I set the light down, the sealant seeped in. I tried shaking it out, and all of the shavings got stuck on glue double

I still use that light, no one notices but me, still using the fugged up blinker.

So no you are not alone :) in fact, depending on how our next one goes, you'll be better than me haha.

I think dremeling the whole thing will work 10 times better. I might try to work with the other corner since that one is just sitting in my garage. I'll see if that one goes better tomorrow or Friday.

Since I have nothing to really do until I get the new corner light, I messed around with Sketchup today... Somewhat decided to go ahead and build a rough 3D image of a bed rack that I would want on my truck.
