Looks like boxrockets :) but that's a good fkin design. I like it, thumbs up from me. Jealous of your sketch up skills.

Thanks... Adam's bed rack was the one that inspired this design in the first place... (Pretty much a near replica of his... :spy:) I really like how it's not too tall, and, if I get an RTT, it won't be so high up. Of all things, I really do not want any weight above the roof line. As for my ability to use sketchup, my geometry teacher made my class use sketchup for a good chunk of the year so that would explain that part, but to do what I did with sketchup would take someone with no previous knowledge not long replicate what I did...

All good stuff. I hear you on not wanting weight up high, why I went with the setup I have. Btw I was planning to mimic Adams design too, before I bought the bamf rack, sunce it looks great, functional, and no need for bender. Maybe will play around with sketch up next project. Wasn't an easy one for me to pick up...

I nearly went to All Pro Off-road for a bed rack, but my dad told me that I wouldn't like the weight of it as well as, when the RTT comes into play, I would hate anything tippy and it would just make a lot of sketchy parts feel rather uncomfortable. I complete agreed with him and decided that Adam's approach was one of the better ones we've seen. Even with the RTT, I'm still torn between the Kukenam or the Ayer. One can sleep more, but the other significantly lighter... I have more than enough time to make my mind up. If you need help with Sketchup, let me know... I know most functions, but your best bet, and my advice to you, is to just play around with it.

Yeah that all pro rack is high... Tippy is no good. Whether you are really in danger or not, best not to tempt fate :) keep the kukenam low, I don't think you'll notice the extra weight, plus you can sleep yourself plus one comfortably. Just my 0.02. The kukenam will be perf for me and wife but much smaller and it would be one person only .

Even though the Kukenam weight a bit more, it might be better to future proof so I don't have to buy another one that bigger in a few year. If I were to buy another RTT, I would want the reason to be that the old one has be own out.

I did mine with duplicolor and it sucked. When I take off to cut out for winch, will be using the semigloss rustoleum (since I have a bunch). If it looks terrible, will use this can of liner I have.

Somewhat muted semi-gloss black... I'm happy with it...

It looks rad I'm a sucker for the blacked out grill. One thing about the silver trucks... Imho, they also look great color matched. Anything beats the cheesy chrome :)

Thanks. I do agree that color matching looks great on the silver, but why go with it if it's already proven to look good? :p I think I might try flat black if I don't like the semi-gloss. After that, if I still don't like the black, then I'll think of something...
