Has anyone figured out how to mount the maxtrax to a CBI bed rack?

About to go a hardware store to see what I can rig up, but if theres a better way... I need to know

Don’t have the CBI rack, but do the Maxtrax mounting pins work with it?

Damn. I grabbed some flat bar steel once before and mounted the pins to it. Then ran the steel the length of the Maxtrax. That let me mount the flat bar to a roof rack based on my load bar spacing.

    Does that make sense?

CBI Bed rack or overland bed bars? I have the bed bars, and I know CBI sells a Maxtrax mount/offset (I assume you still need to buy the pins). If I recall right, they quoted me in the neighborhood of $150. At the time I was checking, they didn't have it on their website but it could be ordered with a phone call...

Might wanna just give them a ring!

Can anyone confirm this? I have a CBI rack as well and the maxtrax are longer than the mounting points I'm assuming the RCI should work because it seems like the mounting holes are standard with ROTOPAX.

Hopefully you already got your answer, but for further researchers:
CBI does sell the HiLift bracket and MaxTrax Bracket but the products are not listed on their website; you'll have to call and ask.
This is specifically for the CBI Overland Bars ( Overland Bed Rack Bars / Prinsu ).
My 1st Gen Overland Bars were the same kit as the Chevy Colorado, it seems.
Notwithstanding, the mounting pattern on the side worked great for the MaxTrax Bracket and looks great.

    HiLift Brackets - $95 + t&s
    MaxTrax Bracket - $125 + t&s

I initally bought RCI max trax mounts and they actually couldve worked but they made the length shorter and so it was 1 inch too short to fit the CBI rack. I ended up getting the CBI mount which costed more money and took a restock hit and shipping hit with RCI sending it back. Thanks for the reply.

Any PICs with the mounts on the CBI rack? I'm trying to decide if I should order them for my rack or try to build my own.
    Thanks

Yes! The cbi mounts are pretty good and give you a little range of how much forward or back you can move it. After playing with it and the boards on you can make enough space in the front to slip your hands into the truck bed or move the mounts 1-2inch more forward to close that gap. Unfortunately I only have this Instagram pic haha I can take more if you really interested.

Thanks but that wont be necessary as I just ordered mine. If I had more time on my hands I'd probably would have tried to make my own as I thought the 100 buck plus shipping was a little to steep.

I was definitely in the same boat of conisdering to make one, but the bracket is really robust and solidly made. I don't think you'll regret the purchase plus your supporting an American business. :)
