CBI Offroad Fab is excited to announce the acquisition of Prinsu Design Studios, a privately owned, Utah-based company which designs, develops, and builds roof racks primarily for the Toyota vehicle market. CBI Offroad plans to continue offering the same great roof racks and accessories that Prinsu is known for while improving the overall customer experience. One of the biggest focuses will be on reducing lead times so that product is on the shelf and ready to ship. CBI Offroad will retain the current Prinsu name and all current products that are offered. “We are so excited for this opportunity to sell and distribute the Prinsu brand of racks,” said Nathan Wright, CBI Offroad CEO and co-owner. “Zach has built an incredible product that functions very well and looks great on all of our Toyota vehicles! We are excited to build on this foundation that he has started by adding new product lines and improving product availability to enthusiast all over! Our goal is to continue to add to the excellence that Prinsu Design Studios is known for and broaden the application of these highly functional racks.” The transition will take place over the next two months, including moving the company operations from Utah to CBI Offroad’s headquarters in Idaho Falls, ID. We invite those who are not familiar with the Prinsu Design roof racks to please check them out at: http://www.prinsudesignstudio.com/

No idea. From the press release it sounds like everything is staying the same, they're just bringing their manufacturing firepower to reduce lead times. I'm not affiliated with either but if someone wants to ship me stuff (MD, btw), I'll rep it all day

Why is this in 3rd gen and not the CBI vendor area?

Will prices go up or down, or stay the same? It'll be nice if they're streamlining the production process and pass on the savings for the consumer, and have more sales/profit over time

I'm not the kind to bust someone's balls about spending all day watching new threads before making theirs a duplicate.

    Just amusing.

This went down live in the Prinsu BS thread.

I read this as 'CBI bought Prius' and was really confused.

    I'm up too early

He is just assuming since CBI has pretty high prices and they don't offer discounts. However, they have kept the price consistent up until now aside from The old tw discount

It would suck if they raised prices. The beauty of Prinsu is the quality product at a good price. They, meaning CBI, could ruin that.
