    Hey guys,

Recently I had a CBI Covert bumper installed but the knock off light bar I got didn't fit. The shop said it stuck out too far on both ends.
Looking at might expensive light bars that I suspect would fit, they are flat on both ends without the bulge. The $800 ones all seem to fit! But for me, a light bar shouldn't be a $800 purchase, I'm fine with a cheap knock off, if I can find one that fits.

    Any ideas?
    Thanks!

    Thanks for the feedback.
I see this one still has those little side bulges - any idea if it actually fits in the covert bumper? It seems really hard to tell

I’m not too sure. Never heard of that problem before. Cali Raised makes affordable lighting. It sounds to me that the light bar you got is too big for the cut out or maybe it’s something to do with the mounts. Not that many people run that bumper yet for me to give you better advice, sadly. Tru looking through the forums a little deeper, maybe someone had a similar issue and solved it.

Yeah I've been digging but nothing yet.
CBI says it fits a 30" light bar, which I got, bit you're right it was the mounts that bulged out a little too far and it ended up too large.
I'll check out some Cali raised stuff, but I don't want to drop $800 on a light I don't need just to fill this damn hole in my bumper lol

Try to contact CBI. I was actually considering this bumper as well. I may go with a full bumper however.

Haha just weld a plate over the light bar hole and then paint it black. Problem solved!

Have you thought about measuring the available space and then buying a light that fits? Not every 30" light bar is the same width, different covers and mount create a large variance in width. CBI only ensures fit with their preferred lighting supplier and doesn't verify fit of any others.

    ...stuff
Is it the brackets not fitting or the light bar itself? Maybe you can work out some brackets made yourself

Either get done measurements, or find out what bar CBI recommends and get the measurements from the light bar manufacturer. With that info, most reputable light bar manufacturers will post dimensions of their products

Do you happen to know what the measurement is from the inside of each tab so I can also order a correct fitting light bar.

I just really don't want to spend $500+ on a light bar i don't really need or would regularly use.
My winch is bright orange, hence why i want to cover the lightbar hole with something
