Hey My 1st Gen Tacoma Brothers and Sisters,

I installed a CBI Dual Swing-Out Rear Bumper on my 98 4runner with the help of my buddy Sean. Part 1 shows how to install the base bumper whether you have the plate or hybrid model and Part 2 (coming soon) will cover showing how to install the swing-outs, spare tire carrier, tray table, jerry can holder, hi-lift jack and wire the license plate light.

Here's the video and Enjoy the Show!

Was the dual swing out a custom setup? Or are they offering it now on certain bumpers? Price over single swing out?

Wish they had the option when I bought mine... Bent the single spindle and snapped my swing out in half within 6 months of ownership... :(

It's a custom order. I'm not sure if they charge more for it over their single swing-out. If you're interested in one, I'd suggest calling Kenny at CBI. He was super helpful to me and he'll answer all your questions.

I just put a dual swing-out on my Tacoma as well. Pretty sure any dual swing-out is a +$300 option on top of the single swing-out price.

Where's this? Great pic, reminds me of Steel Pass in DV colors-wise. (But obviously isn't because it's so wide :) )

I'd love to get down to Anza-Borrego. My dad was just there for a month, had a blast. DV and the Maze deserve separate trips (of a week+ each), just saying :D.

(sorry for all the off-topic @Timmah!)
