CBI frame plates & Trail-Gear Rock Defence rear bumper

    Maybe this has already been discussed somewhere else but I thought I would confirm this for you guys.

    You cannot add these two to your first gen without modifying one or both. I chose to grind down/back the rear most portions (about 1.5") of the frame plates since they were already welded on and have been on for a while. I then had to cut about 0.75" off the bumper forward most flange and grind a heavy round over as well.

    Sorry no pics as of now, just my notes.


    P.S. - Also ToyTec adjustable shackles can only be used on setting +2" or +1.5" without cutting them down or they make contact with tube on the TG bumper that comes off the frame flange to the fender protectors. If you want to use the +1" setting you have to cut them down.
