I'm hoping you are right... still no excuse for lack of communication. But this has been beaten to death on here. If other vendors see this they should get the idea that two way communication is a really important aspect of customer relations. Bumper looks sweet BTW. Although Mobtown's with the rail is up on my list! http://mobtownoffroad.com/product/2016-current-tacoma-rear-high-clearance-plate-bumper/

    UPDATE
-Finally got my shipping notification. Paid for local delivery, Through their 'individual UPS' option, but seems they went ahead with a freight shipping company. At least they got it coming as close to Mukilteo, so it's only a 1.5hr drive down to get them... I just don't get why they advertise this option when they just ship freight anyway?
-Anyway, just glad to finally have them in-route, now it's just to see the final product, and I pray they were worth the wait! It's been a long wait, now to see if the "juice was worth the squeeze"!?!

My skids were delivered by a local freight company that set up a delivery date.

The order invoice from the freight company is set for delivery to destination terminal, and on the site they claim a local delivery fee. But we will see; their service department isn't open right now, so I can update once I call, and will update with possible pre-arranged delivery, or any additional accrued costs.

I can vouch for Sos concepts, Eddy is a good dude an phenomenal customer service. All my armor is from them cept front bumper(saving for SOS front). Fitment is on point an great welds an hella beefy. I had to wait a while for the stuff since I ordered during Tax season. However this was stated during ordering process an he updates one of his threads when he has orders close to or ready to ship.

    UPDATE-
Kenny from CBi contacted me again, on here, to let me know that they will take care to make sure the product was delivered to my address. Sure enough, that same day I got a call from the shipping company to schedule the drop-off. Before I even got a break from work to call into their service department. So I am unsure if this was already pre-scheduled as part of my shipment or was added on. Either way, Kenny at CBi has been a tremendous help! As I mentioned to him, he is true to his word when he tells you he will get back in touch, as other's have promised that call back with the info you need... and puff... are gone in the wind. He was honest and helped me track down these long-thought-forgotten sliders. They are scheduled for delivery next Thursday, but with a crazy snowstorm in route, it may be delayed. I will offer one final update as to the quality of the product when arrived, nothing in-depth as that belongs elsewhere. Thank you everyone on the forums for support and all the great information!!!

#MallCrawlorDie ...but then you have also seen those USN Parking Lots and parking Jobs!

And Nope, No PC. This isn't my first build although definitely the newest model year, lol. Bare Steel and local PC. Plus, I can go a cool anthracite grey with it!

I worked on pearl for the last three years of my AD time. I hit a chief’s car my last week there because he was parked like a goon. My aluminum front bumper was flawless. I hate base parking.

I knew you would know my struggle! That's why that Mobtown Rear Bumper with the tubes sounds so appealing! 'Parking-Lot Battle armor'!

My experience with CBI has been mixed.

Just before xmas, I emailed CBI and asked a few questions about their DIY bumper kit. Didn't hear back, but from my google-fu, I was able to eventually get the answers I wanted.

I made the order a few days later. Got a note saying estimated delivery was February. (nearly *2 months*). Happily, I got another message within a week that my order was shipped and it arrive the following monday.

As I took inventory, most of the assembly seemed pretty straight forward, however a few pieces (simple triangle shaped gussets) could have gone pretty much anywhere. So I messaged them again asking about that. Nothing.

Again I resorted to google-fu and found a few TW members that had built the bumper previously. After a few discussions, I finally figured out where the pieces should go and continued building.

Then in mid January, I get a response to my *first* question about the bumper (before I even ordered it). A week or so later I finally got another response about the placements of the triangular gussets (long after I had finished initial assembly, lol).

Suffice to say I have nothing but good things to say about the actual product, however the customer service has been glacially slow.

But jesus christ, $1000 for sliders?

I recommend SOS Concepts, and Mobbtown for sliders. Being on the East Coast, makes the decision easy.

Yup, I try to support local companies as well when possible, Hefty Fabworks, RCI, ToyTec.
