I have the same bumper. If you plan to have heavy loads, you'll definitely want a leaf pack rated for heavier loads. I went with the allpro expedition leaf pack. Fully loaded with RTT, gear, ice chest, (2) 5 gal Jerry cans, spare, hilift, etc, I'm at about 1000 lbs in the bed.

And yes, I totally agree with whoever mentioned the branding comment. I hate logos on anything, especially when it's in your face. CBIs is very subtle.

I love this bumper! But I love the extra bars on the C4 bumper. Is there enough material outside the bed to weld one on after the fact. I can’t really tell too well. I want the CBI with a hoop!

I believe they have brush guards as an option. They'll custom make any style or pattern you want. Check out their website

Well I meant for the high clearance REAR bumper. One of the other vendors has a similar rear bumper with a hoop covering the rear corner of the bed. I like that bar but I want to put it on CBIs. From all that I have looked at, CBIs is by far the cleanest and sleakest, but I want to add the bar. I can add it myself if there is room to make it work.

I'm talking about the HC rear, also

Brush guards probably aren't the right descriptor, but I've seen them with the tubing that protects the bed side.

Is there a spot to hook trailer chains? Any pics of that location would be appreciated.

You can see them in the picture you quoted. See the two small holes to the left and right of the receiver...thats them. Works fine for chains.

Not sure what they charge. Mine was special pricing because they used my truck to prototype the bumper. They had it for three weeks to build this first one so my pricing was adjusted accordingly. Great business to work with.

i know the steel bumper isn't going to be compatible with the BSM, but does the high clearance rear from CBI come with cut-outs for the back-up sensors?

Yes. I opted for the backup sensor cutouts.

Btw, a lot of people can't justify spending that kinda money on a bumper, but by the time I sold each BSM module for $450 (x2), each bumper cap for $100 (x2) and the remaining bumper assembly for $400....I technically only paid a couple hundred dollars for the CBI HC.

    Many.
I’m missing the set screw for the spindle arms. Does anyone know what size it’s supposed to be?
