If you don't mind me asking. How much did your shipping come out too?

Online store said about $547, but I talked to them over the phone and they said the actual shipping was going to be $393. Their online store has the quotes through FedEx but they don't use them. Let me know if something is going to happen with this group order thing. I can probably convince the wife to let me get the bumper if it's significantly less for shipping (asked them for a real quote on the front bumper w/full guard and it was still going to be about $800).

I guess my one big question on that is a technical one: can anyone tell me how well the PRO's fox suspension will handle the extra 100lbs up front? Or am I going to have to get real aftermarket suspension if I want the armor? I can't really afford the suspension right now, so if it can't do it with the "stock" Fox Racing 2.5's I'll have to pass.

Is that the only factor in shipping cost?

Dimensions have a huge part to play in cost as well. Front bumpers are 110lbs with the pallet, but their dimensions of 37Hx80Lx40W (also on the pallet) is primarily the reason for it costing so much.

Freight is calculated by Size and weight dependant on the carrier rates and sometimes transfers needed between trucks.

I ran sliders on my stock TRD OR shocks for a while with no issues. You'll be fine.

Well I will have the sliders, but I was inquiring about having the CBI T3 front bumper w/full grill protection in aluminum. It's about 100lbs.

Just as a heads up, I'm calling CBI on Monday to see how much money I can save on shipping by adding the front bumper and a full set of skids to my existing rock sliders order. If the wife and I deem it is an acceptable amount of savings we will pull the trigger on getting the other parts. I'll get back to if I end up doing that or not, maybe some of you guys can jump in on it to save even more money for all of us.

Just a heads up to everyone. I'm adding a bumper and full skids to my order. Quoted this time at about $550 for the shipping.

Any idea how much it'll be to add another set of skids? I'm interested in jumping in if the shipping isn't killer. What island are you on brother?

Not sure how much. I'll try to call and ask and let you know. Just as a heads up the guy was saying that I probably won't get my stuff until late October.
