    While yes op has a right to be bummed, CBi could’ve offered a little better compensation than a free hat imo. I know they reserve the right to cancel orders, and refuse service. As a private business that’s their right. But a little show of good faith usually goes along way.

    Phase 5 tactical for example. Did an update or something to their website and the whole sight was discounted like 60% or something crazy like that. While I’m sure a few orders slipped through and weren’t canceled. They came out said an error occurred, gave everybody on the email list a 30% plus frees shipping for the entire weekend.

    They already had given him a discount on a rack order a few days prior simply because he is in the military. I’m sure he prefers that over a free hat.

    As was stated, There was never an offer for a free rack. The offer was for a free hat, Just to offer something to those who asked if they could do a group buy. When the response to our offer was (for the most part) negative we pulled the offer. To be clear CBI never offered a group buy, discount or any code for a free rack or a "buy one get one". The original thread was started by a TW member However the terms of our offer for the hat were clearly spelled out.
    The OPs order was shipped out the same day he ordered with his free hat.
