So I ordered the T3 Push Bar. It arrived last night, and was mounted this morning. There are obviously a ton of options for the front end, but I definitely like the way this looks. Specifically, I didn't have to cut anything, which keeps my options open in the future.

Took about 90 minutes to install as compared to the 3 hours they suggested. The time included mounting the lights.

Looks good! Love the KCs, tired of all the led bars everywhere...

Ok....it looks pretty decent ..I was expecting much worse.

I would give it 2 thumbs up if it didn't have those random curved tubes sticking off each side

how strong is that? looks like two metal flat clips on the top end? do you feel like this thing can take a punch or will it crumple into your front end if you tap a wall while parking?

trying to guage if it's worth buying as a stop gap before getting an ARB bumper, or should i save up? i like the look, but don't want a damage multiplier.

The main attachment point is under the bumper on the frame with an "L" bracket, with the top straps mounting to another beefy frame attachment on the aluminum bumper mount. As far as being able to 'take a punch' - I think it would definitely handle a bump at 5 mph into a parking garage wall, though it may well bend the brackets a bit if its more than a tap. I also took a Hi-Lift to one of the holes in the front and it lifted the truck. So for anything I might need, it should suffice.

I also plan to re-boot it sometime with a beefier winch bumper, but for the next while this will work for me. But my next big expense is the lift, so this will get me by for a bunch more months. I'll add a pic of the mounting brackets when I get back outside.

OR they wrapped around to the front of the wheels wells and offer some armor... but over all it's not bad. I'd prefer more armor.. but thats just me!

    CBI Push bar and sliders
I recently purchased CBI Off Road Sliders and the Push Bar for my 2016 Tacoma. The sliders went on pretty easy and look great.

The push bar on the other hand I could not figure out.

Q: Does anyone have instructions or video for install of the CBI T3 Push Bar????

Thank you!!!!!!!! I was ready to toss the thing into the yard.

I had everything apart and was hesitant to drill the aluminum bumper behind plastic. Looks like that is what I needed to do.

I bought this push bar, love the way it looks. Everything went well with the install until I got to the "hang it off the front extender brackets and connect to the screws on the front crossmember." The holes didn't line up and the underneath L brackets didn't reach, needs at least 1/2". Any suggestions?

I'd make sure that the top brackets are still loose when you're lining up the bottom. Also, the top brackets are in a kind of "S" shape - maybe make sure that they are in the correct position?

If those don't work, maybe contact CBI and tell them what's gong on?

Thanks for the reply. I tried the brackets in a couple of positions, first the one from the "internet" instructions, then reverse. No Luck. Have sent CBI an email for some input--hope they can help!

I'm usually one that screams no for bull bars but this is well designed for the most part. I would have liked to see gussets on the tabs through the top for added buckling support. The tips of the tubes are a little strange but over all I like the design and function-ability.

Here are the installation instructions - make sure those upper brackets are positioned as shown.

Thinking of getting this. How do you like it so far? I like the fact that there's no cutting.

    Thanks

Looks nice and clean. I as well was looking for a no cut, no drill guard that didn't weigh too much or had a winch option. When you have a winch and big ass bumper all of your friends will call you to come pull them out.
