CC mod

Hello all, I'm a new Tacoma owner. Mine is a 2014 reg cab 4x4. No cruise control can anyone tell me if this type is normally pre-wired for aftermarket CC or not? Also are aftermarket mods worth it?

 

It would be prohibitively expensive for Toyota to have multiple wiring harnesses. I believe your wiring will be behind the dash for cruise control. That said, you would have to purchase and install the module, the control arm etc. My guess, and I could be way off, is you would also have to tell the computer to turn on the function. But maybe the module will do that for you Now what mods do you mean for the second question? Any mod or the cruise control?

@Crosis thanks for the reply, yes I just meant specifically the CC, found a kit for nonprewired so I guess I just have to find out if my model is wired or not
