Hello all, I'm a new Tacoma owner. Mine is a 2014 reg cab 4x4. No cruise control :( can anyone tell me if this type is normally pre-wired for aftermarket CC or not? Also are aftermarket mods worth it?

It would be prohibitively expensive for Toyota to have multiple wiring harnesses. I believe your wiring will be behind the dash for cruise control. That said, you would have to purchase and install the module, the control arm etc. My guess, and I could be way off, is you would also have to tell the computer to turn on the function. But maybe the module will do that for you :notsure: Now what mods do you mean for the second question? Any mod or the cruise control?

    BTW, Corpsman here too

@Crosis thanks for the reply, yes I just meant specifically the CC, found a kit for nonprewired so I guess I just have to find out if my model is wired or not
