I installed a Sony NX-5200BT last year that I got from Crutchfield. Since then, it’s needed to be reset numerous times and has had a software update. Now, still needing to be reset every other day. I’ve read opinions from some experienced installers that the Sony equipment isn’t the greatest.
I’m not looking for anything fancy or high end: 20 or so watts, just FM, CD and USB. If it can connect an iPhone all the better. I’ve been driving for 43 years and have no need for back up cameras and video has no place in a daily driver.
Anyone have a suggestion on a reliable brand that isn’t costing an arm and a leg?

I have a Kenwood in mine, it does the same thing you say yours does. I can't stand it.
