    Hi all, 2017 Taco TRD-OR w/ ~66k mi. CEL with Track off light on came up. Got checked at Toyota and said it was code P11EC-00.

    Looking through threads with similar issues and looks like repair costs range between $4-5k. Has anyone had to have their engine entirely replaced? Also, anyone had any luck with Toyota honoring their power train warranty after 60k miles? Freaking sucks I’m 6k past warranty.

    @Superdave1.0

    Is this one of those codes that the stupid crank sensor causes?
    Or is it the one that typically ends up being head/valvetrain related?

    Looking through some threads, it seems to be the code for the valve/head failure. Hopefully they get lucky, but I would hope for the best and expect the worst.

    Bummer. I figured you might now.
    Thanks for the help and answering my question.

    I’ve been too busy over at the Dairy Queen playground to keep up with all the 3rd Gen problems. :rofl:
