    my mom truck 03 tacoma base model 4 cylinder throwing a cel

    P0505 idle air control system-- how do i fix this? thanks

    Try cleaning the IAC (Idle Air Control) valve. There is spray you can buy at Autozone that is made to clean that and the throttle body. Try that first as its a cheap solution

    i take of the intake hose and spray it directly into the tb

    You can. But the problem is mostly the IAC valve. Should be screws that hold the cover on. Take those off and spay it down. Allow 30-45 min for the spray to evaporate before starting. Will be hard to start and smoke may come out the exhaust, but that is just the cleaner working its way through.

    where the iac located on the truck? it a good ideal to clean both than ehh?

    It should be attached to the throttle body. And yes, might as well since you have the truck apart

    Not at the moment. My Haynes manual is in my truck which is at the body shop right now. I can see if there is any pics of it in there tomorrow for ya

    Look around the tb. Top, bottom, left, right, etc.

    and have 2 hoses connected to it? but it gonna be connected to the end of the tb on the side though
