Anyone have these codes on a 3rd gen before? Read the codes with my scangauge and:
p0002 = "Fuel Volume Regulator Control Circuit Range/Performance"
p00c8 = "Fuel pressure regulator control solenoid - open circuit"
It's still under warranty, so I'll just be headed to the dealership asap. Just wanted to know if anyone had any experience with the same thing.

Yessir. Definitely tightened it at last fillup. And this happened about halfway through a tank.

    Update:
In to the dealer first thing Friday morning. They had it all day looking at this and a list of other small nagging things I wanted addressed before warranty is up.
Service advisor calls me just before closing time and says they are stumped. Codes are pointing them to a evap system issue, which doesn’t make any sense to me when the codes say fuel pressure regulator. He said they need to hang on to it so they can do a smoke test Monday. Called him this afternoon and left a message, no response.
We’ll see what they say tomorrow. Meanwhile, I’m stuck in a old junky Corolla loaner...

FPR is not part of the evap system. I think your service writer may be confused. I would ask to speak with the tech working on it.

Update: Dealer had the truck for 5 days total (2 of those were weekend). They say I need a new evap canister, I didn't quite get how they narrowed it down to that. Parts are on order and they say it's fine to drive the truck while waiting for them. Should be in this week, we'll see if it fixes the codes.
Also learned that when CEL and trac lights are on, cruise control is disabled. Annoying, but still way better than the Corolla loaner I had.

New update from the weekend. Yesterday, I did the 30k service on the truck. Replaced rear diff, transmission, and transfer case fluids (ran out of time, I'll do the front diff next weekend). Also replaced the air filter. Drove the truck later that day, and no check engine light. Weird. I didn't disconnect the battery or anything that would have reset it. I have no idea how a new air filter could clear it, the old filter looked fine just old.

Either way, the parts came in and I'll have a new evap canister on Wednesday.

Could one of your fluids have been low and so the light went off when you changed it?

All the usual diesel truck mods- fuel system upgrade, programmer, CAI, intake manifold, 60MM stealth turbo
Corollas are fine cars don’t knock them. They’re great for jumping. If you haven’t jumped one yet try it with the loaner before you return it. . Hope the evap canister fixes your CEL issues.

CEL back on when I started up to drive home this morning. Continues to confuse me.

Light came back on. And I’m pretty sure that none of those fluids I changed have any kind of sensor in them.

Did you fill up your gas tank? My c e l light is coming on but every time I fill up the gas tank it goes off. It started coming on at 10,000 miles. I now have 18,000 miles. And I am being completely jerked around by Toyota. They're saying I have debris in my my gas tank because they noticed i had hauled some dirt in my truck. My codes are evaporative: p2401, p2402, and p2419. i have been going back and firth with them for a year. Any suggestions?

Was back at the dealer Wednesday. They replaced the evap canister. Here's the relevant section of the invoice. These codes they show aren't the ones my scangauge was showing, but what do I know? CEL is off, and I've put ~100 miles on the truck since.
