cell phone mount 3rd gen

loking for cell phone mount like to see some pic and ideas of place ment and mouting

If it helps. The solution I decided on.

 

Nite-Ize Steelie is pretty awesome, I use one mounted on the top left of my stereo above the vent.

exactly why i went with this solution. works well so far.

 

Ram Mount. Best option out there.

 

I used to use the magnetic cell mounts - but you can't have the metal on the back of your phone and use the wireless charger... So IDK what to do anymore.

 

MobArmor mount!!

Solid and adjustable, but a little on the higher price side. Quality product. Can be pretty universally mounted.

 

i used these in the past, two parts 1) vehicle mount and 2) device mount so the fit is totally custom. here's the vehicle mount part, for example:

the last few generations of galaxy phones are magnetic as is without a case/metal plate. I am just using an iphone 5s right now and i bought a Qi case with a thin back, put the metal plate in the case and wireless charging still works since the plate is behind the charging part.

 

That makes sense, I have the S7.... but with as clumsy as I am, I have a protective case on it and that renders it non magnetic.
