Don't you just love the great customer service at the cell phone store!

I went through 4 LG Chocolate cherry phones in a 14 month period. Till they finally decided a new phone was in order. I took one in for them to tell me there was nothing wrong with it. When you talked for more than 10 minutes it would over heat and shutdown. So the dumbass tech said to leave it & he would test it. Of course nothing was wrong when you leave it on a desk turned on. Your body heat helps with the heating up. Last time I checked, a desk was not warm blooded!

Now I'm addicted to my crackberry!

that is really funny, not about getting a replacement but how you killed that phone w/ a nail gun. That samething happened to my GF phone and they mention that it got wet. There's a white circle tab on the phone itself where the battery is and also on the battery too. If it's red = means it got wet. if it's still white then there should be no excuse for a replacment. I would bring that phone with all the nails on and mention that it was an industrial accident. LOL

I lended my buddy my nail gun. Hell, @130 psi, a few of those staple blew right thru it! :D For some reason, the sound was not in sync with the video, but you can see one point where a staple blew right thru it and shot pieces out the back.

That was awesome. I'm here at work and turned the laptop around and told my partner to check this out he's gonna pull a murph and chunk it. Then I saw the nail gun and said this is going to be awesome. I'm on my third nextel i880 the screen keeps flipping upside down. It's a known problem with them but they keep handing out the broken ones instead of handing out one that actually had the crap fixed. Oh well two more weeks and nextels ass is outta here. I bounced the last one off the door frame of the front door. Maybe I'll do better with verizon.....who knows.

Should just place it down, and say, "It's not wet, you guys really need to work on the sturdiness of these things."

Chris, you need yourself a brick phone.

It'll take a 30 story fall, and crack the concrete while remaining perfectly viable, it can be used in Cheyenne mountain during nuclear winter and it can stop a 7.62mm bullet at 100 feet.

Im going to just go in, calmly wait my turn, and when they ask, "What can we do for you?", Im just going to tell them that my Wifes phone doesnt work, then give it to them. As for that Brick phone, Im sure I could find a way to break it. :D
