Okay. I've seen it in person a couple times. Up close and personal, sitting in and walking around it.

I still think it resembles a shiny navy ship or primer coat. :D

*shrug* Fine by me if some folks love it. I don't like the Inferno color either.

No I'm not stupid enough to spend 40k for a stock mid size truck. Thanks for playing:wave::smack:

@bludweiaer don't abandon me bro! Seriously though I'm interested to hear what you think of the '17, especially if you drive it.

+1 on @bobrown14's comment: save the $$ and just S/C your '15. Mine has all sorts of torque, something the '17 will never have.
Getting off the line, pulling up hills, spinning bigger rubber, towing anything ... I'll be lapping you and your pansy little 3.5L if you jump ship :boink:

    Fair enough.
I know this...It would be a pretty dull world if everyone liked the exact same things. If someone gets a chubby over the Cement TRD Pro and wants to throw down 45K, it won't change my life. I'm equally certain I spend money on stuff that others would deem foolish. I haven't lost any sleep over it.

I know thats right. He**, I have $5500 +/- of computers (3, 1 gamer, Mac mini and a dedicated competition GPU Stanford Folding rig http://folding.stanford.edu) sitting in front of me not to mention the 2 laptops, phones and pads in the house.

OP, Nice truck Bro. Go burn some dinosaurs and have fun with the new toy if you get it. I know I would! :mudding:

I'd recommend staying with the 15 PRO.

If you, for some stupid reason, decide to buy the 17 pro (don't), sell your truck private sale. The dealer isn't going to give you near what its worth and there are plenty of people that would pay a pretty penny for 2nd gen 15 pro.

A lot of stuff, just ask and I'd be happy to tell you. Or we could wheeling/camping
So many haters..... If the man wants to get a Tacoma, let him. It's better than the new Honda Ridgeline, that things ugly!

If you can afford 40k+ more power to ya! That being said it's a lot of money no matter what you buy. It won't be going down in price or value due to the prices on other mid size trucks on the market and its limited availability. Trucks are expensive now a days, either pay it or buy used, that's the only way around it.

Be cautious, the Devil you know...

There are a few 3rd gen owners on here whose trucks have a couple of things they don't like either.

But that's just the tightwad in me speaking.

My company gives me monthly car allowance that's more than enough for a new Tacoma and I just put it in the bank, though I may actually use it when Toyota handles these recurring 3rd gen issues.
