I already had the v6 off. I looked at it like, $65 a side for a razor thin piece of plastic. Then you get near it with the buffer and it'll snap for sure.

I got those OEM overlays from that ebay link on the way from ordering earlier in the week. Also ordered the OEM SR black bezel from another Toyota dealer on ebay during the sale yesterday and got 15% off, making it ~$100 shipped. A bit spendy but I like having the OE parts. Should complete my blackout along with the T4R Pro wheels. Banish the chrome!

I went back and forth on the Pro grille versus just replacing the bezel. I like the Pro grille, but not how it sticks out from the front. Seems to be getting played out too much now too. Everyone has it, not as cool anymore! Going to be a grille hipster and stick with the OG. =) Also having to relocate the TSS sensor and worry about the garnish and wiring just seems too much of a pain and can give them a reason to deny warranty. Just replacing the bezel I think they'd have a harder time justifying that since the grille itself is still the same one that came on the truck. Anyway these are the things I tell myself to jusitfy it. And less $$$ and no games like you'd run into trying to get an OE Pro grille if you don't actually own the Pro.

I hear ya. I'm not as bothered by the chrome, or the stock wheels. Also, I don't know that I have the time to take the grille off. Either that, or I'm lazy. ;)

Agreed! What lift/tires are you running? I'm going to get suspension soon but considering keeping my stock OR wheels as I already got them black vinyl'ed and just get bigger tires.
    This set up looks tough!

I've been thinking about getting some rock sliders. It gives the truck a different stand. Nice looking truck btwScreenshot_20180925-133131_Gallery.jpg

First post so I figured this would be the perfect thread for it. Just bought this two weeks ago and already got to work on it.
