    Manually adjustable seats are sad

    Engine power is laughable

    Speakers are soulless

"Cupholders" can't even hold a standard Gatorade

Steering wheel is crooked; leans left (just like my first mate). I'm assuming a dealership can correct this under warranty?

Still figuring out the ins and outs of touchscreen Nav display in conjunction with my iPhone; a tad annoying.

Slight whistle near the driver's window

So I can't turn on the rigid fog lights while the other lights are in 'auto' mode?

When I slammed on my brakes, my seat slid an inch or so in the tracks, repeatedly. Think I fixed it.

She's beautiful. Gets a lot of head turns.

Flew to Austin and picked her up. She had 16 miles on the odometer. Drove her around ATX for a bit and then home to NOLA the next day. Sitting at a little under 600 miles now.

Love her guts. Ready to get her into some trouble. Thanks for answering my questions in previous threads. I've found a lot of great info on this site. Any more tips are appreciated. This is all very exciting. Cheers

I see you ordered yours from Lost Pines Toyota. That's where we ordered our TRD Pro 4Runner as well (same color). Shows up around mid July. Who was your sales rep?

1300 miles and I am enjoying it. I can park it anywhere and these terrible roads pose no problems. In my previous ride (Golf R) the potholes drove me crazy. I cannot decide on runners or sliders. Changed oil at 1k. About to check trans and diffs. I am installing a tailgate locking solenoid today.

just compared rear to DCSB OR and I am sitting almost 2 inches lower, measured against 3 brand new DCSB OR. I ride on bfg 265/75/16 no mods to suspension and bed virtually empty. Anybody else has a similar issue?

Looking good. I own an Golf R32 (mkiv) and going from my Tacoma to the R32 I have to remind myself of how low I am and that potholes eat wheels on that car.:D

Rear springs are the same between Pro and OR and shocks will not change ride height. Springs will settle over time/use but not by 2" on this type. Full tank of gas may have that effect, but I've not measured that. Wheel center to arch is a crap measurement to use between vehicles, its only really valid for the same vehicle or to get rough idea between vehicles, but even that should give you a 2" difference.

that's how I measured, the reason I noticed is because both trucks were parked sided by side, and my mudflaps were almost touching the curb in the back while he had much better clearance. Took it to service, see what they have to say.

I was talking to another member and I think the leaf springs might actually be specific to the pro. Mayne someone can confirm the part number printed on top of their leads, but here are the ones on my '17 pro.

A lot of stuff, just ask and I'd be happy to tell you. Or we could wheeling/camping
The Pros have a progressive rate leaf spring packed designed specifically to the Pros

I had read in one non Toyota articles that the rear springs are different. But everything I have seen here seems to say the opposite, and nothing official from Toyota (that I have found) states that they are different. I was waiting for the 2017 Fiche to be available to check.

    --EDIT--

I just looked up that part#, its the same springs as all other 3rd gen Tacoma.

All leaf springs are progressive, it's just the nature of the design. It's coils that can be progressive and non-progressive.

ARE MX series cap with ezlift with yak rack and rigid light bar
I get mine tomorrow- Ordered Jan 6th and Preliminary Build 4/4 and a train forever...
I watched videos a few times and I know designer from Toyota TRD said leaf springs were stiffer and from my bad memory I thought he said more of them or something added?
So they could add to existing part knowing big T if possible and to SAVE MONEY? I am from Ohio so I do no freaking clue?
I want a Four Wheel Swift Pop Up shell but worried about weight 825 lbs to 925lbs - maybe RTT better but cant drive with it open- Need to investigate
Also was thinking a 4Are and an EZ Lift and add a rack to hitch to add a hammock as another option.... got to have damn thing to decide but what do you think of weight and wait problems??

Nice, either way mine will be swapped out for a nice upgrade in the future. The truck rides great, but that rear end starts to sag with almost nothing in the bed unfortunately.

I saw this pic and just LOL'd for real. I also have a cement Pro, older Tundra (2001, 299k miles), Ford cargo van, and a fun car (S2000 instead of Subareww). If I could get them all lined up together I'll snap a pic.

I noticed this as well the other day when an OR parked right next to my Pro. The front was pretty much the same height and the rear was noticeably lower. Do you have any updates on what service had to say about it?

Service says it's within toyotas specs, and when the field engineer visit they'll have him take a look. But that shouldn't be the case my truck is a solid inch and a half lower than an OR when it should be an inch higher. When I made a fuss about it, they had the odacity to tell me my 1 inch bigger tire can be causing this. I'm at a loss of words for that one my self. Mind you I work at this dealership.

Wonder if it's even worth pursuing. I may swing by a dealership in my area to compare to another OR and a Pro they have on the lot.
