Me too. I've got a mountain theme going on the truck. I am not a fan of the red on the recent OEM decal.

@Alby22 did yours come with the body color lower valance? Mine is the stock black, and I am having a hard time finding the body color online.

Is that part of the Alpine Loop? Right off of 550?

    Beautiful area.

Took my 2016 out there for FJ Summit two years ago. It was completely stock. Everyone i was with had lifts, bigger tires, etc. They said i'd be fine...as soon as you pull off 550, you are right into a pretty intense trail. Only had one issue with getting hung up on the frame. Backed up, adjusted the line and right over. After that, there wasn't anything that the truck (or I, lol) couldn't handle. I'll probably do it again next year.

    Looks great. What's the wheel/tire set up? Method 701? 16's or 17's?

Thanks. They are MR316's in 17" with 0 offset. The tires are Cooper Rugged Treks in 265/70-17. I've only put a couple hundred miles on them on dry roads and they are pretty quite. Similar mild hum to my wife's Duratracs.

How do you like the Bakflip cover? I want the low profile style like that.

I’m happy with my backflip. Is it “water tight” no. But does it keep most of the water out, yes. I added the oem tailgate lock as well. So nice to be able to keep stuff back there and know it will be okay.

I love how low profile it is, easy to install, and ease of use. I installed a Ride88 bike rack system and it fits nicely under the cover. I wish I could see out the back of the truck when the cover is fully retracted like in the pic. The roller back style option may have been a better option for this but this style I figured would be more durable. No science to back that up. So far I'm really happy with it.

All my rigs are purpose built. From crawling to camping. I also enjoy a nice stock truck for what that’s worth. Toyota’s are the jam!
Yep, the FJ most certainly does things well!

Yes, it is the body color. I actually bumped into a small metal fire pit while moving my truck around in my driveway. Put a couple scratches on it, so I had it wrapped black when I had the hood and roof done.

How long have you had Ride88 rack? Pros / cons...

    Thanks
