A little late to post this but this is the first time my taco has ever seen snow when I was in VA. And also some F15s in cement color.

Awesome setup! What size Wildpeaks did you go with? Any issues finding TPMS sensors for the steelies? What paint did you go with?

I just got a set of 17" FJ steelies and am in the process of doing the same setup. Planning on color matching them Cement and going with 265/70/R17 Falken Wildpeaks.

Relentless Fab hybrid bumper, 2.5” Dobinsons IMS lift, RCI skids and sliders, block heater. Painted FJ Steelies. Was trying to keep it stock, now slowly building for the Wisconsin trails.
Same size as you. 265/70-17. I did have some rubbing on the mud flaps the the suspension compressed while turning prior to the lift. As for TPMS sensors the stock ones from my alloy wheels worked fine. I think it's only the steel rims on the down level trims that need a special sensor. I also got the factory center caps. Those are damn pricy but look so good in my opinion.
Paint is PPG PSX-700 epoxy in RAL 7037 It's originally designed to offshore oil rigs and is super durable.

Ah ok. I'm on stock TRD-OR suspension with a set of Tufskinz mudflaps, hopefully they don't rub or are trimmable if they do. I wonder if the TPMS sensor is the same between the TRD-OR 16" alloys and the TRD-Sport 17" alloys -- as in if my TPMS sensors will transfer over to the steelies like yours did. I'll probably end up going with the OEM center caps, I think I saw ~$43 each from my local dealer. Thanks for the paint recommendation and your original thread!

Did you go with any particular set of black lug nuts? Am I missing any other things that I'll need? Haha, thanks!

Could you talk more about your IMS setup front and rear? Looking to also go this route but will be going with heavy duty springs for a camper I'm getting installed.

Sure! I'm running the 352 coils up front and the 110 leaves in back. I went with the longer coils in anticipation of adding a bumper and possibly a winch and the lighter leaves as I run empty most of the time and even loaded up for camping I'm less that 500lbs.
Currently its at 2.5" up front and 2" in back. Once the bumper is on I should have 2" of lift front and rear. As for the ride, I really like the IMS valving.
It rides a bit stiff like the stock sport suspension which I really liked and does an excellent job of smoothing out bigger hits. I did realize after I installed the suspension that I really needed UCA's to get the caster angle back to where I liked it. When I had the initial alignment done while it was "in spec" it followed the road camber and was a bit nervous at 80mph. Getting the caster angle into the 3+ degree range helped significantly.

Lots of good info in this thread if you haven't already seen it:
