Post your '18 manual trans trucks! I wanna see what you've got

Hey guys! If the delivery comes on time from Colorado, I'll be taking delivery of an '18 TRD Off Road with the 6 speed manual. Options as follows:
    TRD Off-Road
    Cement
    Entune prem.
    Double cab
    5' bed
    Chrome bumpers
    Cloth seats
    4x4
Texas truck, real basic as far as TRD goes anyway. Any insight on TSS would be appreciated. Anyone try and remove the windshield camera? If nobody does I will :D

Pictures coming tomorrow morning plus Moab, UT adventure in 2 weeks! :mudding:

Just a heads up, there's a kind of black-out framing around the windshield camera. Seems like an adhesive backed vinyl. Even if you manage to get the camera off, you might find that the vinyl outline is impossible to remove.

That being said, I'd love to see a way to permanently disable TSS and maybe even free up some valuable windshield space so keep us updated on your efforts!

Here's what I've gathered so far. TSS pre collision relies on the radar sensor in the grille. When the sensor is disconnected, the "PCS OFF" light comes on-and nothing else really happens. Replace the windshield with a '17 to delete the camera. At this point it really just comes down to clearing the codes, haven't found any info on that yet, but give it time-if the jeep guys can figure out how to disable auto stop/start before the new wrangler even hits the lots, I have full confidence that someone will figure this out on the taco.

Regardless, we are blessed to avoid stop/start at least right now, so I guess it could be worse. And if the system ever gets screwy we always have the unplug option.
