I thought the quicksand was cool at first but I went MGM, I love it.

A guy in my neighborhood had a quicksand but traded it in for a white one, he told me the novelty wore off after a couple months o_O

I thought quicksand looked cool until I saw a bunch of old geezers driving their aging sedans in tan/beige. Now QS looks like something straight out of the 90s to me.

Yeah I feel like cement and quicksand are both awesome colors that you get excited to see on the road, but actually owning one would get old after a few months. Think if you had to keep this truck for the next 10 years. Will you still like the cement color vs MGM then?

Yeah MGM does look good in the sun, have you seen the flake in cement in the sun? Looks pretty awesome too!

It does not look too good with road salt all over it, cannot believe how filthy mine looks right now and with the temps where they are I don't see me spraying it off anytime soon.

Cement is my second favorite color Taco, but for me quicksand is number one, after almost two years of owning mine I still love it!3E86A555-CAA3-4F97-B0A3-14989577F30B.jpg

I always find it hilarious when people make declarative statements about color choice. You guys do realize all color preferences are completely subjective, right? None of you are right, and none of you are wrong -- except for those who are throwing insults at certain color choices. That's just douchey.

OP, I don't think you can go wrong with any of the above. Before you place an order, go stand on the dealer lot and stare at ALL of them. Spend as much time as you need until one of them finally looks and feels right for you. It's always a tough choice, but it's also very much worth the wait once you make the choice yourself. You just do you -- don't worry about what anyone else thinks at all.

Agreed, color choice is 100% subjective. I prefer Cement of the two choices given but I think it is because we have a MGM 2010 Corolla in the garage.

Don't get me wrong, I like the color on a Tacoma also, but it is kind of dated to me. I honestly prefer blue colors for my vehicles.

A huge hit actually. I had traded my 06’ 4Runner with really low miles and a crap ton of mods in for the 17’. If I remember correctly, they gave me 33k for the 17’. My payments went up, but I don’t mind since I don’t have plans to sell my 18’ and love every bit of the truck.

I don't think color is 100% subjective. Light colors are better/cooler in hot/sunny climates for instance.

In 1975-76 you could buy a Centennial model of anything. Many did, because it was the "in thing". Red, White and Blue in varying amounts, stars and stripes were IN. Everybody was SURE it would make whatever into a collector's item within a few years. Neighbor down the street still has a Johnson 70hp centennial boat motor. Nothing says, "There's a knowledgeable fisherman" on the boatramp like a Centennial boat motor...

How many of you are on the look-out for a Centennial anything?

In 2009 I could not live without buying a blue Pontiac G8. It was the "in" color, exclusive, and the rarest as less than 5% of G8's were blue. My wife of 32 years thankfully prevailed upon me as she often does when I am given to listening to reason simply by saying, "In ten years you will be sixty-three. How you gonna' look in that BLUE G8, old man?" I bought a Midnight Grey Metallic G8 instead, and have not looked back since. Thank God for my wife and her wisdom. I would have HATED that blue by now.

I didn't even look at the blue Tacos, but I did look at the cement Tacos though, the absolutely beautiful one featured on the showroom floor that kept whispering in my ear, "Gitcha' one!". That same "I gotta' have me a BLUE G8" buy with my emotional heart and not with my reasonable brain feeling swept over me. And without needing to consult my wife on the choice I bought a grey Taco.

And you should too. The ten year's from now you will thank you.

Like I said, it was worth it to me because I plan to keep my truck for a long time and honestly, can’t imagine wanting any other truck out there with the exception of the Landcruiser 70 series truck, which won’t happen!

I prefer the Cement colour but both are great choices. I don't know which one would be easier to clean though. Let us know what you end up getting!

I just switched from MGM to Cement and am happy but time will tell. I always loved the look of a blacked out cement so I'm on my way to doing so! Just got my cement 2 days ago so mods will happen soon.
