    Can you guys comment on how you removed the screws in the old unit and to get the new unit screwed in? I bought the replacement latch on Amazon, but I don’t have a screwdriver that small to fit in that area. Help!

    How about a link to that 'Dorman' item (not the generic Amazon-Tacoma parts link, posted above)? I have waited four years to do this, and maybe I should (before I die) LOL!

    Mine broke 2 days ago. Saved myself some money and did the quick fix with 2 small screws I found in the garage. Drilled the holes, and cut the screws to the appropriate length. Easy! Thank you guys!
