Looking to find a switch to fit the balnk spaces under the hvac controls on my 2009 Tacoma. I've seen switches and threads for the 12+ but I haven't found anything for the 09. If anyone can point me in the right directions I would greatly appreciate it.

Do the 12+ switches work on the 05-11 models?

I'm looking to put in a switch to control my rock lights.

Custom front bumper and rock sliders, glasspack muffler, shorten exhuast, abs killswitch, roof light bar, rear e locker.
Regular size switches should work. Use a dremel or file to make the blank bigger to fit the switch. Don't know if that's what everyone else did, but what I did.

I would think so. The 12+ is listed as left side or center, so the 5-11 should be exactly right. The blanks underneath are the same size as the left switches on the older ones, aren't they?

The blanks under the climate controls are smaller than the switches and blanks to the left of the steering wheel on the 05-11
