The center console (back of it), in a 2008 taco has louvers down @ bottom, what are they for?
    Can that part be removed?
I would like to install a double USB port were it says caped bottles only,i think I can feed the wires from up under.
    Any help would be great!

I found that the back of the console can be pulled out from the bottom revealing open area!
    This is good news!
Also you have access to a channel under the rest of console up to the dash!
    This is too easy!

I believe the louvers are for cooling the inverter that comes on some models.
