Center Console CB Install

    For those who have done this install, how much extra room is between the plastic bottom of the console and the transmission hump? I was wondering it it was enough to cut out the bottom and slide a large radio into the slot, still being able to close the lid.

    It looks like there's about 6 inches from the bottom of the console to the lowest part of the lid. I was hoping for an extra few inches below the plastic bottom to fit a 9" deep radio. Thoughts?
