Does anyone happen to know what is causing the center console fans to stop blowing air? The driver and passenger fans still work just fine but I can't get air from the center. Hoping for a little more warm air heading into the cold weather. All my searches for a part number have been coming up empty.

There is only one, single blower motor. From the picture, you have the setting on defrost, which directs air only to the dash. If it is on the next option over, air is directed to the dash and floor outlets.

For air out the center ducts, the switch needs to be set to the option with one of the two left-most options.

The dial selector on the right is what will change where the air comes from, as said above it's currently on defrost.

Yeah I get that. The settings are just what I had them on most recently. Regardless of what setting I have fan on, I'm not getting air from the center.

    Rodents.
There is only one fan that I know of. The middle vents are blocked.
I have to take mine all apart to suck the mothers out. Have the fan screened and they still get by.
A flaw in Tacoma design, most vehicles these days. Intakes are in bad spots and open to critters getting in.

Just wanted to make sure, I would pop out that bezel and see what's going on back there. It's pretty easy to remove.

I suppose the pic is misleading. I'll take the bezel out and see what's going on. Thanks

Either the Duct work fell off or was not reinstalled correct .

A nest of some sort is blocking the duct.

When you rotate the 3rd knob (rightmost), can you hear the vent door move behind the dash? I can't remember if it is vacuum actuated or electric motor actuation but do it with the engine running in case it is vacuum.

The vent door changes position to direct the air from the fan motor to the various vents. As mentioned, the center 2 vents only get air from the fan when that knob is rotated to the 2 leftmost positions on the dial.

The air coming from the side vents is when the truck is stationary, yes? They're fresh air vents, of course, so when moving there will be air coming in even if the blower motor is not running.

Did you confirm the blower motor is operating?
