Do the 09's have locking boxes?

I wonder if you couldn't argue that, as the console opens form the drivers side towards the passenger, making it difficult for them to open and did inside.

It's never come out of the holster, but its flush with the top of the console so if it did want to bounce out it wouldn't go far.....thanks for the compliments!

If it's not locked then the child/felon in your front seat could whip it out and go on a rampage.

    yeah I agree with you.

Your definitely wrong unless you're talking about not having a CW License. Are you saying that if you have one, then you still can't do something like this?

For anyone wondering, this is legal in Florida.
Florida requires it to be "securely encased"

Here is their definition of that:

Fack Cali and its firearm rules..

Here you can buy a gun but you can't look at it, touch it, or smell it... you sure as hell can't shoot it...

You buy in in Kali, take it home, lock it in a safe and lock the mags and ammo in a different safe offsite and throw away the key... then it's legal.

    Rant Off

I'd like to see that when you're done. I have a serpa for my j frame Smith and am considering using it in the same manner as you. It's a good retention holster, just too bulky for me to CCW.

Lol, move to AZ. all you have to do is put a map in your pocket next to the gun. Then it's a map pocket, and apparently legal.
And you can get away with target shooting all over the place here. Not legal, jus' sayin'
